SKIN, HAIR & NAILS

A few months ago I started taking "Skin, Hair & Nails" to hopefully improve the strength & growth of my, get this...hair & nails, before my wedding day. The thing is I haven’t really seen much of a difference. Today I looked at the pills & examined them a bit in my hand. I thought to myself...for all I know these tiny little things could be filled w/ saw dust!.....Does anyone out there have any other suggestions to replace this type of vitamin?

  1. I got some from GNC last year and took them for a few months. I didn't really notice a difference either so I guess they all have saw dust in them. HA!
Now I just take the Woman's Ulta Mega from GNC -recommended by many.

  2. I hear pre-natal vitamins are excellent for hair & nails. And I'm not being sarcastic. Swear to god.

I take a womens multi-vitamin and I swear it helps my hair grow faster.

  3. take 50mg of zinc once a day and you'll notice, I promise you. Don't take pre-natal if you're not trying to get pregnant. you can take a womans multi-vitamin as well as zinc, it's totally fine. I have a nutritionist, I'm not just giving you false info. ;) Good luck!

  5. Shannon, there is a new vitamin out there called "hair extensions" for your hair, it works great. Also, for your nails you can buy a really great supplement at GNC called "Lee Press-Ons". I swear, you take these vitamins just once and you will notice a HUGE difference right away. Good luck!

  7. prenatal vitamins were excellent! my hair has NEVER been so full/healthy/long and my nails were super thick/long. also, use this product called "nail tek II" it strengthens your nails to keep them thicker, which obviously helps them stay longer :) i swear by prenatals and nail tek :)
