CONGRATS MEGHAN & SEAN

Here you go! Meghan & Sean's "fancy schmancy" wedding weekend! Click on each photo to enlarge! The big event was nothing less then immaculate!!! All of it lived up to our expectations of what we thought we were getting ourselves into...The venue, the food, the flowers, the dresses, the tuxes, the experience...nothing less then TOP NOTCH like I said!...The bride & groom (who randomly met on a train after both missing their original one) & all of their guests were dressed to the nines! I pretty much stuck out @ the reception w/ my hot pink dress...HA! Oh well. Thankfully the rain stopped just in time for Meghan to walk down the aisle. She looked stunning!.....All of us had such a great time @ the reception & after party Friday night as well as the ceremony & reception Saturday night! It was a beautiful event! Thank you for such wonderful memories Mr. & Mrs. Feeney! Have a BLAST on your honeymoon!

MOLLY UPDATE

Last week the vet called me w/ Molly's test results....it wasn’t good...They said that it’s actually her liver. It looks REALLY bad…it’s not really functioning…there could possibly even be a tumor… there was a lot of glucose, blood & protein in her urine. She may even be anemic… the doc said I could get x-rays & more tests but she suggests that since she is old I should just let her be-it would just be too torturous for her. And if she starts to act as if she is in pain I should even think about putting her down… soooo sad….heart breaking…. For now I will let her be until I feel I should actually do something….Luckily she made it through this weekend, I was so worried since we were gone Fri-Sun for Meghan & Sean's wedding. She has definitely gotten worse though...lil by little each day it seems. I am so scared to walk in the door each day now not knowing if she will still be alive or not....please continue to keep her in your thoughts & prayers....

MEGHAN & SEAN VS. "MEET JOE BLACK"

Meghan & Sean's wedding is finally here! I have been waiting for their wedding for quite some time! They are getting married @ the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick, RI. This mansion is famous for being used in the movie "Meet Joe Black" f/ Brad Pitt! Caaaaaarrrrrraaaaaazzzzzzyyyyy! Super cool! Steve has known Sean since High School. Him & some of the boys from the group are in the wedding on Saturday. We will be camped out @ the beautiful Westin Hotel in Providence Friday-Sunday. The rehearsal dinner is at Cafe Nuovo Friday & the ceremony & reception are being held @ the chapel & grounds of the Mansion Saturday. I have a feeling Meghan & Sean's big day will be nothing but TOP NOTCH! I am stoked to attend the big event. It's going to be a wonderful time w/ wonderful friends!

BACKGROUND:
It was originally owned by Senator Nelson Aldrich. Its construction began in 1896 and was completed some 16 years later. In 1939, the Senator’s heirs transferred the Aldrich Mansion to the Providence Diocese for a token sum. Our Lady of Providence Seminary relocated to the Aldrich Mansion in 1946. The estate is currently set on 85 acres (or 75 depending on the source). It consists of the French inspired mansion itself, a coach house, a caretaker's cottage and boathouse. It was William Parrish's mansion in the 1998 motion picture Meet Joe Black.

This is my lovely friend Amanda! Amanda is getting married in MD on October 17th to my special friend Justin! Her bridal shower & bachelorette party are this weekend at home in VA. Since Steve & I already committed to another wedding that he is in this weekend I am going to miss her festivities…booo! I am so extremely bummed! Luckily she understands. Amanda has been a WONDERFUL friend over the past several years! I have really enjoyed getting to know her & becoming very close! She is an amazingly beautiful person inside & out! I know that she will have a blast on Saturday with all of her girl friends; I just wish I could be there for her & attend all of her special events. Oh well…what can I do…at least I sent her several gifts & a few cards in the mail as well right? HA! Just kidding. AMANDA-You better have the girls take lots of photos for me!!! I can’t wait to see what went down! Enjoy yourself, have fun & take it all in!!! Eat some late night pizza & drunk dial me as many times as you’d like!!! Hugs!!! BABY CEREAL

OK...don't laugh...but....I eat baby cereal. Yes, it's true. This is our shopping cart from last night. My hubby thinks I'm crazy each time I pick up a box at the store.....I have done this forever! So has my Mom, so has my sister & so has Emily. I honestly don't know why we all started but I blame my Mom. She would make it for us all the time back in the day! It's just like having oatmeal, grits or cream of wheat you know? Just better! Mix it up in a bowl w/ milk or water, add some butter & then add some sugar. Heat it up in the microwave for about 1 minute & 30 seconds. It's super yummy! Especially on a cold day. You gotta try it! Seriously! You won't regret it. Let me know what you think.
