ANOTHER REASON...
"Through all the chaos and torment and everything I go through, I can lay in his arms and finally rest," she added.
Having her cuddled up next to him isn't always such a relief, admitted Simpson.
"To be my man, you have to put up with a lot," said the singer. "I toot under the sheets, I spend a lot of money and I can belch the ABC's."

Here are the photos from Steve & Jacob’s CVS “Employee Appreciation Day” this past Saturday. Myself, Steve, Jacob & Amy went into Newport, sailed on a boat for a few hours, had a clambake @ the Hyatt hotel-tarot card reader & airbrush tattoo artist included & then bar hopped in between all of the cool shops & restaurants. Luckily the rain stayed away….even though it looks a bit cloudy it was pretty much a perfect day & evening for the 4 us!
As for THIS weekend….we might go see “My Best Friend’s Girl” tonight, tomorrow we have a cookout/house warming party/lil kids birthday party to attend for Steve’s old work buddies, Sunday we are checking out Block Island & taking advantage of the FREE ferry passes Steve won at one of my COX events! I cant wait to shop, eat & site see all day long, its gonna be GORGEOUS out! Here is the website for Block Island…I am SUPER excited about seeing what the hype is all about!

BLACK DRESS, JESSICA & CHATTERBOX
If you love cheap red wine you have got to check this out! Little Black Dress! It’s awesome! I had noticed this cute little bottle in the “package store” a few weeks ago!…No not a FedEx or UPS store but a liquor, beer & wine store…Just another word/phrase to add to my New England vocabulary. I thought the label was super adorable! The other night Steve picked a bottle up for me so we could try it. I found it simply amazing, especially for the price! You (Natalie) should definitely try it sometime if you haven’t already!
I HEART JESSICA SIMPSON’S NEW COUNTRY CD “Do You Know”!!! So I finally purchased her fabulous gold disc yesterday at FYE on my way home from work. I listened to it on my way into the office this morning. Personally I think she has the most beautiful voice ever, I think she fits into the country genre just perfectly & is finally “home”! I already have 5 favorite tracks out of the 11 listed….”Remember That”-(a tribute to the supposedly physically & verbally abusive Nick Lachey), “You’re My Sunday”-(a tribute to the new love of her life Mr. Tony Romo), “Still Beautiful”, “Man Enough” & “Do You Know” featuring Miss Dolly Parton! If you haven’t picked up a copy and you either love Jessica Simpson or love country music I advise you to do so because you will love these tunes!
Ooooh yah! I almost forgot to mention this! When I walked in the doors of FYE there was a table display of “Little Miss” energy drinks! They had a bunch of “Little Miss Chatterbox” drinks in bubble gum flavor. I was very tempted to try one out but I decided to pass. How funny though! The cans were just as cute as the little books I used to read in Elementary school. You do remember those don't you?

As far as the plans for this weekend….Steve and I are going to relax this evening, tomorrow (Saturday) we are spending the day in Newport w/ Amy & Jacob for their CVS “Employee Appreciation Day”. We get to hang out on a sail boat for a few hours (cross your fingers it doesn’t rain on us!) & then attend a clambake in the courtyard of the Hyatt hotel! I am super excited about this! As far as Sunday I think we are having Steve’s brother Matt, sister-in-law Nichole & niece Leah over for dinner to celebrate Matt’s upcoming birthday...& of course watching all of the football games on TV as well! Another fun filled weekend ahead of us! :)

REBECCA’S “CAPRI”
Isn’t she beautiful? One of the hardest parts about being away from home is not seeing my friends go through such important & happy milestones….Right after I moved to Rhode Island my girl friend Rebecca told me that her hubby Bryan had knocked her up! ;) I was sooooo excited for her, yet so bummed I wouldn’t get to see her belly grow & be there for her over the next 9 months….Rebecca and I have shared so many wonderful memories, she is one of my closest friends. Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were partying it up at her parents house, dating (not so cool) Army boys & thinking about moving to Florida.....When she was pregnant with her son Nathan we were only acquaintances really, so I missed out on her first time around…This time I don’t even live in the same state as her, just my luck! Bad planning on her part! HA!.....Just the other day she sent me the cutest photo ever! I couldn’t wait to see what she looked like. Completely adorable! Don’t ya think? I am so happy for her! She deserves all the happiness in the world….Her life has changed so much in the past 2 years thanks to her husband. She met Bryan at her Holiday work party in 2006, I remember the night she came home to the townhouse that we were living in together-she told me that she had met the man of her dreams & she just knew they would get married some day soon. I thought she was CRAZY! :) To my surprise…a wedding followed just a couple of months later in North Carolina, then a beautiful townhouse was purchased in South Riding, VA & now a baby is on his/her way! Like I said she deserves it all….I wish I could be there though…since I cant, I look forward to receiving more updated “belly pics” on a regular basis over the last few months! As far as the lyrics below…they are off Colbie Caillat’s CD. I just sent it to Rebecca for her recent birthday. “Capri” is the track’s title, it came to mind when she told me about her wonderful news!
“She’s got a baby inside
And holds her belly tight
All through the night
Just so she knows
She’s sleeping so
Safely to keep
Her growing
And oh when she'll open her eyes
There'll be no surprise
That she'll grow to be
So beautifully
Just like her mother
That’s carrying
Oh Capri
She’s beauty
Baby inside she’s loving
Oh Capri
She’s beauty
There is and angel growin’ peacefully
Oh Capri
Sweet baby…”
