Check out this chunky funky bracelet Steve’s sister Sara gave me! It was hers & she didn’t want it anymore so she let me have it (along with a bunch of other stuff) when we visited SC recently! I really like it because its sooooo different! Neat huh? I LOVE hand-me-downs!

5 RANDOM THINGS
1. WE GOT A LAPTOP!!!!! WOOO HOOO!!! STEVE & I PURCHASED IT THE OTHER NIGHT! IT SHOULD ARRIVE AT OUR PLACE THIS WEEKEND JUST IN TIME FOR OUR FLIGHT TO VA TUES NIGHT! WE ARE VERY EXCITED!!! IT CAME WITH A LAPTOP BAG, WIRELESS MOUSE & WIRELESS PRINTER/FAXER/COPIER/SCANNER! YAYAYAYAY!
2. I met a girl last week that is from NOVA!!! Crazy small world huh? Her name is Christyn, she is 23 and from Loudon County & she works here at COX on the 3rd floor. Isn’t that nutz? She moved up here about a year or so ago to be with her boyfriend! We have the same story!...She is now engaged to him and will be married in a few months. We plan on having lunch next week in the café before the Holidays to get to know each other. Now that’s 2 people that have moved to RI from NOVA. This must be the place to be! ;) HA!
3. My fabulous “new” boots that I purchased from Kohls a few months ago! They are sooo comfy! Im sportin’ them today actually…but you can’t tell what they look like since they are underneath my black dress pants…

Myself, Steve, Sue & Bryan are making the drive & heading to New Cumberland, PA (close to Harrisburg) for the weekend to visit Jess & Brett & hopefully see Niki & my parents as well!!! Should be a fun filled few days! Good times with good friends…bowling & a comedy club included! ;) Peace out yo!

FEDERAL HILL DATE DAY/NIGHT
As planned…Steve & I went into Federal Hill (Providence) for our date day/night! No one was able to join us so it was just us two strolling the streets & enjoying each other’s company. We had such a wonderful time as you can see below! First we walked the streets of “The Hill”, went to an early Italian dinner @ Cassarino’s (Mom & Dad-we must bring you here next time you visit!), went into Providence Mall to spend my H&M birthday gift certificate (yesss!) & (almost) finish Christmas shopping…then to top it all off we saw “4 Christmases”! We really had a nice time…we were even home by 9pm or so! HA.....*I went ahead & threw in a few Holiday décor, 1st snow & animal pics as well…

So when we moved into our apartment 6 months ago I really wanted to decorate the guest room using the color purple…all different shades…purple-purple, plum, lavender ect…but for some reason I couldn’t find anything I liked! Sooo we decided to change the color scheme to black & white! I don’t know why but I have been pretty picking about finding items that I think go w/ the idea I had. Finally over the past few months & recent weeks I found some pieces & thought of some ideas to spruce the room up a bit!

RANDOM STUFF
How sweet is this??? Steve's Mom's boat in Charleston, SC is decorated w/ ALL of our Christmas stockings! She even has everyone's name on them! You can't see my name but she said it's next to Steve's which is clearly visible. How thoughtful of her! Very cool too! She sent these pics to me through my phone last night...of course I just had to share them!
A lil complaint: So you know the little thingy that holds your gas pump in place so you don’t have to stand there and hold it while it's pumping??? Yah..that thing…for some reason RI doesn’t seem to have those! Now that it’s getting cold out I have to stand there holding the pump instead of jumping back in the car to stay warm! What is up with that?!?!? Steve thinks that maybe it’s a law for safety reasons….safety reasons? What’s going to keep me safe from freezing my sticks off??? Oh yes…my “Bobs”. Yep, the “Bobs” are in full effect already…and they will be until March.

XMAS STROLL & GAC
Sooo our date night might end up turning into a group outing! Federal Hill in Providence is having a “Christmas Stroll” this weekend! SITE: http://www.providencefederalhill.com/
It officially starts Sunday but since Sunday is reserved for football we are gonna go Saturday & check it all out! The plan is to stroll along the town to see the holiday decorations, shop, have dinner at possibly Cassarino’s ( http://www.cassarinosri.com/ ) & then see “4 Christmases” inside Providence Mall! I am super excited! Such a perfect day & evening to start off the Christmas celebration!
GAC aka Great American Country was in our café yesterday…I received a free koozie and signed up for a few raffle prizes---goody bags & a guitar signed by country hottie Keith Anderson! Keith’s 2 big hits are “Every Time I Hear Your Name” & the latest “I Still Miss You”. I kept my cell phone on me all day (not that this is a surprise or anything) in hopes I'd get a call saying I won! Unfortunately I still haven’t heard anything…DARN.
