OUR 1 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Almost one year ago on (Sunday) September 5th I walked down the aisle of a beautiful stone church located in Providence, RI with a HUGE smile on my face while gazing into the eyes of the handsome guy below....I can remember that exact moment as if it were yesterday....I was beaming with excitement yet shaking with fear. I wasn’t scared to marry Steve I was scared to have everyone's eyes on me. I am not a fan of being the center of attention. :) Before the doors opened I had to ask my dad to hold onto me tightly, I honestly didn’t think I could walk. As I put one purple heel in front of the other I got into this zone, a zone I can't even explain. Everyone around me had disappeared, the only person I could see was Steve, my future husband, who was waiting for me... patiently...what an amazing feeling....thank goodness we had a videographer, I honestly love watching this moment (& all the other moments over & over...yes, I'm "that girl"!)....I will never forget our wedding day & how I felt, I will never forget the look on Steve's face & I will never forget the tiny stream of tears rolling down his cheeks as I approached him....the moment, as it should be, was perfect... :)
These 2 photos are my favorite shots (taken by guests/wedding party) by far....Steve & I dancing our 1st dance as husband & wife & posing for pictures outside (in the "abundant" sunshine-thx for the weather reminder/yearly weather coincidence Sue!) of the church before hopping on the trolley....Our 1st dance song was "Today" by Joshua Radin---The slow version---& get this, our vows were incorporated within the beginning of the song!..... & YES, it was Ellen & Portia’s 1st dance song as well! :)

NOW on for our current exciting news!!! We are heading to Cocoa Beach, Florida early tomorrow morning through late Tuesday night to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary!!! We are super stoked about this!!! We are staying in the *RON JON* surf shop hotel!!! How awesome is that? SO AWESOME. :) While we are there we plan on relaxing, sun bathing, eating, drinking, dancing, site seeing & of course checking out this place---> http://www.andrettithrillpark.com/index.html ....Sooo as you can guess I will be signed off for a few days! I hope you all have a lovely long holiday weekend!!! HUGS!

Our wedding color scheme & accent print was Purple, black & white polka dots & sunflowers. Apparently this someone was trying to take a stab at our big day. Rude? Cruel? Jealous? Childish? I'd say so....But honestly it makes me laugh! Quite a bit actually. I LOVE SUNFLOWERS, so yah I LOVE POOP & PEE. :)

I believe I forgot to share this... a few Friday nights ago Steve planned a surprise date night for me! I had no idea what he had up his sleeve... we ended up going to dinner @ our favorite Japanese & sushi restaurant Yamato (which was FREE since our club card was stamped out! HA!) and then he took me to see "GREASE" the musical @ the Bradley Playhouse in Putnam, CT! How awesome is that! I knew about dinner but not about the musical. We had a blast! Of course what a great idea! I have always loved "GREASE"! The theater was sooo cute---popcorn, soda & intermission included! This is The Bradley from many many many years ago...I can't believe it's over 100 years old! I would love to go back in time when this photo below was taken...

The Bradley Playhouse is an over 100 year-old Vaudeville Theatre in the heart of the Putnam Antiques District in the Quiet Corner of Northeastern Connecticut. It is an amateur community theatre, operated by the members of The Theatre of Northeastern Connecticut; Inc. TNECT produces seven season shows per year and several special fundraising events for The Bradley Playhouse Restoration Fund.
Now onto one of my fears....while driving down the road, well more on a highway I'd say... I am pretty freaked out about being behind these 3 images...can we say holy FINAL DESTINATION??? (1, 2 or 3---take your pick!)

Last night Steve & I went to CVS & the grocery store. Yes in that order, we always go to CVS first to get what we can using Steve's corporate discount & then the grocery store. The point of this blog entry though is that every time we go to the grocery store Steve stands in front of the meat section & the juice/soda section for FOREVER deciding on what he wants depending on the deal. Seriously, it's like clockwork. I harass him about it every time....I can't harass him too much though bc i know he is trying to save us money by picking out what's on sale. Oooh Steve & his sales & coupons... :) Last night I just had to capture these moments while I waited for him to be done...Love you babe! HA!
@ the grocery store we picked up this oil dispenser/pourer. You know how when you go to a restaurant, especially an Italian one you get that free oil dip w/ bread as an appetizer? MMM. We sooo want to make our own! Any recipe/ingredient ideas???
@ CVS I also picked up the new "Falsies" mascara by Maybeline last night....not impressed & not a fan of the wand. Oh well, "onto the next one" as Jay Z would say... :)

A friend sent me this...
Imagine you have an empty jar, a collection of a few large rocks, and several handfuls of gravel. Your task is to put all the large and small rocks into the jar. One approach would be to pile all the gravel first, but doing so would leave room for only one or two of the large rocks; you wouldn’t get everything to fit. Switch your approach and put the large rocks in first, and you’ll find that the gravel will all fit nicely around the empty space. If a bit of gravel doesn’t fit at the end, you’ve not lost much.
Let too many little things take priority, and there never seems to be time for the big things. Consider the Big Rocks to be really important things you want to accomplish in life, the things that define you. Get the big things in first, work on the right projects and priorities, and let the little stuff fit in around the edges. Let your Big Rocks be non-negotiable priorities in your weekly calendar — and learn to say "no" when other things begin to intrude. Then fit those other things in where you can.
Don’t ignore your obligations, but make the stuff you have to do fit around the stuff you want to do, not the other way around.

FIVE BELOW, LOVE & THEFT & MORE
Please tell me you have heard of FIVE BELOW. If not you MUST find one near you! ;) We have these in Virginia at home. They finally opened one up here in RI near my work! I took my friend Steph & her daughter there during our lunch break to show them how much this store ROCKS! EVERYTHING is $5 or under. And I'm not talking dollar store material here ladies & gents. There are goodies for kids, teens & adults inside this place! Today I picked up a disco ball (for the basement), a white board (for the basement), black sparkle eyeliner, a yellow plastic flower ring, a grey & white stripped fashion scarf, 2 graphic tees for me, 1 graphic tee for steve, pop rocks for steve, a nautical/anchor navy & white stripped bag/purse & more! My mind is drawing a blank....there are dvds, cards, school supplies, gift wrapping goodies, home decorations, electronics, sports goodies & whatever holiday is around the corner they always have holiday goodies! Again, FIVE BELOW ROCKS! (PS: Their website kinda sucks, don't let the site make you think that's all that they have!)
The weekend is here again! Luckily this week flew by fast; I have been SUPER busy, even more now that the big NEVA event that's every November is in preparation! This is my 3rd year being on the planning committee, I love! I'm even more excited about the event bc #1 it's NOT on my birthday this year, thank goodness since I turn 30 November 19th! ;) and #2 I'm already more involved, my over the top decorating ideas are coming to life!

ANNOYED YET?
As you know I love music, I'm always posting lyrics & videos! Is that annoying to you? Hopefully not! If so be prepared bc I'm about to annoy you even more. :) I seriously LOVE music. Music on the radio & music not on the radio. I love "finding" songs on TV shows, for example on "The OC" & "One Tree Hill"...sometimes "The Real World"...Ohhh & DEF "Grey's Anatomy"...If I hear a song that "get's to me "I google the lyrics. Ask Steve, within a heartbeat I'm grabbing the laptop & pulling the song up online! Anyway.... Here are 2 songs I love right now.... #1 "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry---such a great summer song! and #2 "Saving Grace" by JT Spangler---THIS song was on "The Real World" (New Orleans) just a few episodes back...this song "got to me"!
