KC'S GRADUATION DINNER

AGAIN, congrats to KC for graduating college!!! Great job dude! ;) Thanks for inviting all of us out to your family & friends birthday dinner at Riverview Restaurant last Thursday night! We had so much fun! Loved the company, photos, cake, food, drinks & of course Jesse's speech! We are all so very proud of you! Especially me...since I wonly went to college for 1 year, HA!

That’s right! Steve’s Mom, sister Sara, niece Ashlee, niece Madison & nephew Rhiley have arrived from Charleston, SC today! They drove through the night last night so they could arrive this morning. I’m sure they are exhausted! I hope they are all getting the chance to nap to catch up on their sleep while Steve & I are at work. We can’t wait to see them this evening when we walk through the door! We are going to go over to Steve’s brother Matt & sister in law Nichole’s house for dinner in CT! It will be a nice reunion for everyone since it’s been a few years since they have all seen each other. Stay tuned for photos!

MY FAMILY WILL BE HERE TONIGHT!!!!! :)

Can you tell I am excited??? My parents Roy & Linda & my brother-in-law Louis will be here this evening! I cannot wait to see them! We are all sooo extremely close. It has been so hard being away from them...This past month has been pretty stressful & overwhelming which has made me cry quite a bit. (Poor Steve...) I have sobbed (literally) a few times due to the following: Our apartment being in shambles & 90% packed up for the past few weeks (i despise being unorganized), my sister canceling on coming w/ my fam this weekend (yes, I know a bachie party @ the beach will be more fun, but still dude! HA! Kidding!), the many paperwork mistakes, delays & run arounds with our house, a lil bit of unwanted female *harsh* drama (save it for your mama!), my best friend Emily moving all the way to California, the lack of friends from home calling & visiting (due to money & busy schedules...i know, I know.) & the realization that yes we only have little things left to do for the wedding, but there are A LOT of little things that need to be completed! Ummm and a bunch more, it's just too long to list! Sooo as you can imagine all of this added up & eventually broke me down. Thankfully Steve is a sweetheart & dealt w/ my tears each time by giving me lots of hugs & kisses & telling me everything will be OK. That’s all I can ask for, a lil bit of reassurance & love……As you can see in the photo below I was a bit down in the dumps & “looked” like this on the inside (I put looked in quotations bc I am pretty good at hiding my negative emotions or feelings at work and on FB or MS…for the most part I don’t like complaining or letting people know I am sad, unless it’s needed) for the past 3-4 weeks.
Sooooo as you can imagine I seriously can’t wait to see them tonight!!!!! Perfect timing in my eyes. Their visit is VERY needed!!!!!

When it comes to our weekend plans they are pretty simple… well at least mine & my mom’s are...sorta. While the boys are out doing their thannnggg…To start off, Linda is going to get her hair did @ Joden Salon. She is doing a trial run blow-dry & style out for the wedding to get an idea of what she wants done that day. While she is being pampered I’m gonna get a long over due manicure. After the salon we are having lunch @ the funky NYLO hotel, then we are gonna head to Kohl’s & pick up mine & Steve’s new bedding by Daisy Fuentes! My parents are giving this to us early off of our registry so we can have it when we are finally handed the keys to our new home! Isn’t it pretty??? I love the dainty black flowers! We are going to throw in some royal blue paint & accents to add color to the room!

After Kohl's (which BTW is having a HUGE sale this weekend!) we are gonna run a few more errands & then head back to our apartment so I can re-try on my wedding dress! I have been waiting to do this for many months! The only time I tried it on was in the lil boutique I found it in, in Virginia a few days after our Christmas vacation there. I keep having to look at the photos my sister & Natalie took of me wearing it to remind myself of how much I fell in love with it!!!!! I am dying to put it on w/ all of my accessories! YAY! Hopefully it still fits!...KIDDING. ;).....Thennnnn after that we are going over to Crystal's house in CT to have a super nice dinner w/ the girls-including Jess who will be in town from PA! Crystal is making a surprise meal & desert for all of us. What a sweetie!....To top this all off we are doing my favorite thing...dressing up! HA! I’m such a dork...but I love dressing up! It will make the evening even more fun in general & of course even more fun for LOTS of photos!!!

I can’t believe im getting excited about appliances. WOW am I getting old. I would have never thought this kind of stuff would have brought a smile to my face back in the day. I guess that's what you get when you start creepin towards 30. This reminds me of a few Christmases ago...my parents bought me my 1st vacuum... I was stoked!...Anyway, check out our fabulous appliances!!! The contractors put them in last week! We were able to check them out last night after KC's graduation dinner. The phone pics are a lil dark but oh well...you get the idea. As far as our washer & dryer, they are located in the main bathroom on the main floor. Easy access! Woo! Hoo!

I know, Ive been slacking a bit...but there is SO much going on right now! I cant help but post a few RANDOM entries. I will catch up on my actual writing soon...I promise!

My rad red jellies that my sis got me for Christmas from Old Navy! I was finally able to break them out!

HOUSE UPDATE: Our stainless steal appliances & our washer & dryer were delivered at our house last week! We HOPE to close on Thursday & move all day/all night on Friday before my family arrives! We have been so frustrated/overwhelmed/drained the past few weeks. We are so ready to get into our new home! In a perfect world we would have been all moved in, unpacked, organized & decorated before my parents & brother-in-law arrived. Instead we will be working our a**es off to get everything done at the end of this week! One big thing we are crossing our fingers about is to finally place our furniture order! It’s all in the system ready to go! We purchased brand new black bedroom furniture & mattress, a tan micro fiber suede sectional couch w/ a chase lounge & a mix of black, brown, granite & leather dinning room table/chairs/credenza!.......As you may have guessed, I sooo cant wait to decorate!!!

WEDDING UPDATE: We really only have the “little things” left to take care of…but they are currently on the backburner right now while we are focusing on the house. The latest though is that we had & DJ appointment last week @ a random Starbucks in Providence & I had a salon appointment w/ the manager on Saturday. DJ---Steve & I are very excited about our DJ Jack! He seems really great & very up to date w/ the current music! A must in my eyes! Without giving anything away we are super pumped about all of the songs we have selected & what we have in store for our guests the evening of our big event!.....SALON---First I have to thank Amy for coming w/ me!...PS: Let’s do sushi again sometime soon!...I am sooo freakin excited about the prices & what they are offering! They are closing up the shop so it’s just us girls all morning/afternoon! They are providing pastries, bagels, mimosas, coffee & more, as well as transportation back & forth from the hotel! Isn’t that crazy? JODEN SALON in Cranston, RI rocks!

WELL today I am finally getting back on track w/ my Invisalign. My apt is at 4pm. My old orthodontist from VA overnighted my records last week. I finally opened up the package this morning & found a few "headshots" from forever ago! To freakin funny! I busted out laughing at my desk & knew I just had to share them with all of you!
